Dr. Mitch Fields

Acting Dean, Odette School of Business

Dr. Fields has been a Professor of Business Administration at the University of Windsor since 1985.  Over the course of his career, Mitch has taught at six universities in the U.S., Canada and Australia. 

Mitch received his Ph.D. from Wayne State University in 1982.  As an academic, Dr. Fields has published his research in leading journals such as The Journal of Labour Research, The Journal of Applied Psychology, and The Academy of Management Journal.  Dr. Fields has also presented his research at national and international conventions to both practitioners and academics.

In addition to his academic and administrative qualifications, Mitch has extensive international consulting experience in executive education, employee surveys, management development, teams and teamwork, global strategic planning and organizational change and development. 

Mitch has been the recipient of teaching awards and also has been actively involved on the Boards of several community organizations.
