Dr. Anne Snowdon moderates at the Great Lakes Economic Forum

The academic chair of WIN, Dr. Anne Snowdon, moderated the panel, Safe Access: Cross-Border Cooperation to Combat Falsified Medicine, at the Great Lakes Economic Forum on Friday, May 4, in Montreal, which highlighted Canada-U.S. cooperation to tackle the issue of counterfeit medicines and better protect public health, safety and security.

The panel included esteemed experts from four vital frontline fields that work to combat counterfeit medicines. Experts included: Dani Peters is President of Magnet Strategy Group, Jeff Thompson, senior intelligence analyst with the RCMP assigned to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre; Mike Hatfield, assistant attaché Homeland Security Investigations – Montréal; Alicia Duval, Senior Vice President, Industry Relations GS1 Canada.
